Hi, I'm Ethan

I'm a local artist working with the Iowa City South District Neighborhood Association to craft a new bench for bus stop #7126. The public selected a design in May 2023 and we've continued working on the details with the city over the summer.

In the first round of questions our South District neighbors shared amazing stories, feedback, and wisdom that I explored in a multitude of ways.

After a lot of tough consideration, I've whittled down the options into these three contenders.

I plan to fabricate the final design out of metal.

Final colors and finishes will continue to be explored during fabrication.
